Common Questions
BridgeLog records each board’s auction, contract, declarer, opening lead, result, score, and user-generated notes. With that information, it creates detailed post-game reports for users and their partners.
No. BridgeLog remembers your user profile, partner information, and game location/name. Select your partner and game location/name for future sessions rather than entering the same information again.
Tap Help in the bottom navigation. The comprehensive guide explains setup, recording boards, reviewing reports, and correcting errors. The same guide is available through the Interactive Help Guide on this website.
Yes. You can correct bids, opening leads, results, board numbers, and other recorded information during or after the game. The Correcting Errors section of the Interactive Help Guide and the Correcting Mistakes video explain how.
Use Revisit Auction to return to the bidding, or Re-enter Lead to correct the opening lead, on the screens where those options appear. See the Interactive Help Guide for the steps from your current screen.
Tap Boards at the bottom of your iPhone screen and select the first misnumbered board. You can renumber one board, renumber a group of consecutive boards, or swap two board numbers. These options let you fix the numbering without re-entering the recorded auction, lead, and result.
In the Report Preferences section of the User Profile, you can instruct BridgeLog on when to automatically email report links to you and your partner. In addition or instead, you can manually send yourself and your partner reports from the Session Over and Previous Session screens.
For each duplicate bridge session, PBN files contain hand records, and BWS files contain the results from all tables. BridgeLog Pro and BridgeLog Pro + AI use these files to add hand records and advanced post-game analysis to your report.
These files are available for many duplicate games through the ACBL website or your club’s results system. The Interactive Help Guide and the Creating, Reviewing, and Sharing a Report video explain how to load these files from the ACBL website into your report. If you can’t find your club’s files on the ACBL website, ask your club manager or game director how you can access the files.
