BridgeLog
Privacy Policy
Effective September 28, 2026
BridgeLog is designed to help duplicate bridge players record their games, create reports, and review those reports with their partners. This Privacy Policy explains what information BridgeLog handles, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information You Provide
BridgeLog may handle information you choose to enter or import, including your name, email address, optional ACBL number, partner names and email addresses, game or club names, pair numbers, auctions, opening leads, results, scores, notes, comments, bidding agreements, session reports, and information imported from game files such as PBN or BWS files.
Information Stored on Your iPhone
Your BridgeLog sessions and settings are stored on your iPhone. You control when you choose to share a report, use a feature that requires server processing, or export information from the app.
Shared Reports and the BridgeLog Server
When you choose to share a BridgeLog report, BridgeLog sends the information needed for that report to BridgeLog's server and creates a private report link. The report may include bridge-session data, report analysis, names, notes, and comments. If you provide an email address for a partner or another recipient, that address may be used to send the report link or a notification about new comments.
Your partner or another person who receives the private report link can view the shared report in a web browser and, when the report allows it, add comments. Those comments are stored with the shared report so that the conversation can continue. Anyone who obtains the private link may be able to open the report, so you should share the link only with people you intend to give access.
AI Bidding Review
If you use BridgeLog's AI Bidding Review features, the bridge information needed to generate the requested analysis may be transmitted to an AI service provider for processing. BridgeLog uses that information to provide the requested analysis and not for advertising.
Service Providers and Technical Information
BridgeLog may use third-party service providers for functions such as cloud hosting, report delivery, email delivery, and AI processing. These providers may process information only as needed to provide those services. Our hosting and delivery providers may also process routine technical information, such as IP address, browser or device information, request timestamps, and similar log information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
How We Use Information
BridgeLog uses information to operate the app and website, create and share reports, synchronize report comments, send requested report or comment notifications, provide AI analysis when requested, troubleshoot problems, maintain security, and improve the reliability of the service.
No Sale or Advertising Use
BridgeLog does not sell your personal information. BridgeLog does not share your personal information with advertisers or use your bridge-session information for targeted advertising.
Data Retention and Deletion
Information stored only on your iPhone remains there until you delete it in the app, where that option is available, or delete the app and its local data. A shared report and its comments may remain on BridgeLog's server so that you and your partner can continue to access the report and discussion.
You may request deletion of a server-hosted report or other personal information held by BridgeLog by emailing support@bridgelog.app. We may ask for enough information to verify the request and identify the material to be deleted. Limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or backup and recovery processes.
Security
BridgeLog uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information in transit and while stored by the service. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your Choices
You decide what information to enter into BridgeLog and when to share or export a report. You may choose not to use shared-report or AI features that require information to leave your device. To ask about information associated with you or to request deletion of server-hosted information, contact us at the address below.
Children's Privacy
BridgeLog is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as BridgeLog changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown above and post the revised policy on this page.
