BridgeLog
Terms of Use
Effective September 28, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the BridgeLog iPhone app, BridgeLog website, shared reports, and related services. By using BridgeLog, you agree to these terms.
Purpose and Personal Use
BridgeLog is intended to help duplicate bridge players record sessions, review boards, create reports, and discuss those reports with their partners. BridgeLog is provided for your personal bridge-related use unless we agree otherwise.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you enter, import, upload, or share through BridgeLog. You should review information that is important to you, including auctions, leads, results, scores, reports, comments, and analysis. You may use BridgeLog only in a lawful manner and only with information that you have the right to enter, upload, or share.
Shared Reports and Private Links
When you choose to share a report, BridgeLog may upload the information needed for that report to BridgeLog's server and create a private report link. You may send that link to your partner or other people you choose.
A private link is intended to limit access to people who receive the link, but it is not the same as an account password. Anyone who obtains the link may be able to view the report. You are responsible for deciding who receives the link and for not posting or forwarding it more broadly than you intend.
Comments and Other User Content
You and people with access to a shared report may be able to add comments or other content. You are responsible for content you submit and agree not to use BridgeLog to post unlawful, abusive, infringing, or harmful material.
You retain ownership of the information and comments you provide. You give BridgeLog permission to store, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the app and related services, including creating reports, displaying shared reports, synchronizing comments, providing requested analysis, and delivering notifications.
AI Bidding Review
BridgeLog Pro + AI may provide AI-generated bidding analysis or other automated commentary. AI-generated analysis may contain errors, overlook partnership agreements, or reach conclusions with which you or your partner disagree. It is provided as a review and learning aid, not as an authoritative determination of correct bridge bidding or play. You are responsible for deciding how much weight to give the analysis.
Service Availability
Some BridgeLog features depend on internet access, server hosting, email delivery, or third-party services. BridgeLog does not guarantee that shared reports, comments, AI analysis, notifications, or other online features will always be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued as the service develops.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse BridgeLog or its online services. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access to reports, accounts, systems, or servers; interfering with or disrupting the service; probing or bypassing security measures; using automated means to burden the service; or using BridgeLog to distribute malicious code or unlawful material.
Purchases and Subscriptions
If BridgeLog offers paid versions, subscriptions, trials, or in-app purchases through Apple's App Store, billing, cancellation, renewal, and refund matters are also governed by the applicable Apple terms and App Store rules. Features included in each BridgeLog plan may change over time.
Privacy
BridgeLog's handling of personal information and server-hosted reports is described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference.
Ownership
BridgeLog and its name, trademarks, software, graphics, website content, report design, and documentation remain the property of Richard L. Brown or their respective licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of BridgeLog software or branding to you.
No Warranty
BridgeLog is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that BridgeLog will be free of defects, that data will never be lost, or that reports, scores, analysis, or other information will always be accurate or complete.
Limitation of Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Richard L. Brown will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of BridgeLog, including losses resulting from software errors, inaccurate data or analysis, unavailable service, interrupted access, unauthorized access to a shared link, or loss of information. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
Suspension or Termination
Access to online BridgeLog services may be limited, suspended, or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or BridgeLog; to address misuse or security concerns; or when a service or feature is discontinued.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use as BridgeLog changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown above and post the revised terms on this page.
